As Health and Safety Manager, Abby is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enhancing iLine’s health, safety and environmental management systems. She ensures our practices meet legislation and industry standards while supporting staff and subcontractors to embed safe behaviours and uphold best practice on every project.
Abby brings over a decade of experience, her career began in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. With a civil construction background and extensive work in earthworks, council, and government projects, she has also held senior H&S and compliance roles across multiple sectors. Her empathy, adaptability, and curiosity help her build strong connections and cultivate a culture where safety is understood, valued, and lived by everyone.
She works closely with our external Health and Safety Consultant, Teena Scott, who has supported iLine for over a decade. Together, they bring continuity, clarity, and a strong safety culture across all regions.
Abby connects most strongly with the iLine value of One Team. For her, it’s about collaboration, unity, and shared responsibility. She believes that when people work together as one, everyone feels valued and health and safety becomes a shared commitment, not just a checklist.
Away from work, Abby enjoys immersing herself in books and exploring different genres. She loves getting outdoors with her much-loved pug, combining fresh air with a bit of exercise. Family time is especially important to her, whether it’s sharing a meal, playing games, or simply enjoying each other’s company, she values connection in all parts of her life.
