Installation of CLT panels required critical planning and management of traffic, overhead slinging, working at height and protection from weather damage.
At the time of build in 2018 Fifty One the Strand was able to boast being the tallest building along the Strand. The use of Cross Laminated Timber for Mid Floors, Structural Walls and Stairs, and Insulated Architectural Panels for External walls makes this project a model for future of buildings in environments like Tauranga’s CBD.
