The hall’s operational layout allows the main areas to be combined when required, creating versatility for everything from small meetings to large congregations. Acoustic-rated walls and Autex acoustic ceilings were incorporated to enhance clarity during presentations, performances, and everyday use. Externally, landscaped areas and a large carpark support safe movement and improved access for parishioners.
Architecturally, the hall features a brick façade with metal tray parapets and soffits, complemented by metal printed screens over aluminium joinery. A warm roof system and parapet walls with internal gutters provide durability, weather protection, and a clean architectural profile.
Construction was delivered on a tight programme and confined site, working immediately alongside the existing church. Careful staging and coordination were essential to maintain safe access and minimise disruption during worship and community activities. The warm roof assembly added technical complexity, resolved through detailed planning and trade integration.
