Designed by Assemble Architects, the 3,800 m² development combines practical design with construction solutions tailored to the site’s weak soils, including a piled foundation system and prefabricated flooring cassettes. Light timber framing, brick veneer, and James Hardie Linear cladding create a modern and cohesive appearance, while lifts, timber walkways, and solar panels support comfort and efficiency. Landscaped courtyards, balconies, and shared outdoor areas encourage residents to spend time outside and connect with neighbours.
The project required a high level of adaptability, with iLine Construction stepping in to complete remaining groundworks when early civil works faced delays due to active water springs and runoff. Working closely with Soho Group, the team navigated design adjustments and sequencing challenges to keep the programme moving and maintain quality. The completed development stands as an example of housing that brings people together, offering secure, resilient homes designed to support independent living within a connected community environment.
